Social Media Manager

Job Summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our energetic social media team. The purpose of this position is to develop, coordinate and administer social media content and advertising for Beefy Marketing and its clients. In the role, you’ll be expected to create content that resonates with the interests of the intended audience and lead the charge on the social channels of a variety of business’ and be responsible for building presence, driving engagement, and leveraging learning to better each account month over month. Key deliverables include the development of social advertising and organic content that effectively drives engagement and converts to new clients. All while monitoring and reporting on strategy results.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Crafts social media content for Beefy Marketing and its clients, including graphics, captions, content and interaction.
  • Develops, maintains and administers social media strategies designed to further sales efforts and build brand awareness.
  • Builds and maintains awareness of social media and digital advertising platforms and their related capabilities and processes including (at a minimum) Social Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and the like.
  • Builds and maintains awareness of how to use social media outlets to drive prospect and client engagement.
  • Identifies, develops and executes opportunities for the development of organic social content based on business service offerings and knowledge of prospect and client needs.
  • Understands, communicates and reports on ad performance data and metrics – Assists in helping clients understand the Return-on-Investment of their social media content and advertising efforts.
  • Facilitates conversation with client prospects within social media platforms, communicating on behalf of client and ensuring that brand is properly supported and elevated.
  • Regularly tracks social media page performance and provides follow-up recommendations to ensure growth. 
  • Maintains awareness of effective social media advertising and engagement strategies, continually developing the capabilities of the Beefy Marketing offering. 
  • Understands and effectively utilizes advertising support systems such as AdEspresso and Wordstream to enhance ad capability and effectiveness.
  • Effectively partner with other members of the Beefy Marketing team in developing strategy, writing copy and managing related data.
  • Carefully manages social media strategy design and reporting results
  • Manages Marketing Assistant assignments, ensuring work is carried out appropriately.  
  • Creates and schedules blog posts, following through to ensure proper follow-through takes place and edits are made if necessary.
  • Manages Social Media Copywriter as time and assignments require
  • Assists in the creation and management of events designed to further client brand image.
  • Writes and proofreads all content prior to distribution.  
  • Actively participates in the development of new content, including its reach, drive, and distribution method.
  • Analyses and explores new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company remains a digital marketing leader within the industry, and in the digital marketing space
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • HS Diploma or GED.  An associate degree is preferred along with at least a basic certification in marketing and advertising.
